One of those recipes that proves a salad doesn’t have to be boring! 🥬😂

This is my take on a proper Chicken Caesar — crunchy croutons, crisp lettuce, plenty of chicken, creamy Caesar dressing and, because I can’t help myself, a good sprinkle of Parmesan and chilli flakes.

Simple, crunchy, creamy and absolutely packed with flavour. The kind of salad that actually feels like a meal! 👌🏼

Perfect for lunch, dinner or when you fancy something a little lighter without sacrificing the good stuff. ❤️

Ingredients

  • 100 gRomaine lettuce
  • 120 gChargrilled chicken breast
  • 40 gHomemade croutons (from leftover bread)
  • 3 tbspCaesar dressing
  • 2 tbspGrated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tspRed chili flakes (optional)

Steps

  1. 1

    Chargrill chicken breast, let it rest, then cut into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Cut leftover bread into cubes, toss with olive oil, and bake until golden for croutons.

  3. 3

    Wash and chop romaine lettuce, then place in a bowl.

  4. 4

    Add chicken, croutons, and drizzle with Caesar dressing.

  5. 5

    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and chili flakes if desired.

Tips

Using leftover bread for croutons not only reduces waste but also adds a unique flavor to the salad.
