Ingredients

  1. 250 gspinach (bo cai)
  2. 2 tablespoonsdried goji berry
  3. 100 mlhot water
  4. 2 tablespoonschopped garlic
  5. 1 tablespoonlight soya sauce
  6. 4 tablespoonscooking oil

Cooking Instructions

    Unpack the spinach, cut off the root, rinse the spinach with water until free of sand. Use a kitchen scissors to cut into stem into small strips.

    Heat up a pot of boiling water. Blanch the cut spinach for about 10 seconds. Drain and leave aside.

    Rinse the dried goji berry with clean water to remove any dirt. Add about 100ml hot water to quickly soften. The water will be used later.

    Heat frying pan with medium heat. Add cooking oil. Stir fry the garlic until aromatic.

  5. 5

    Add in the spinach. Use a chopsticks to unclutter. Mix spinach evenly with the garlic.

    Add the goji berry with its water.

  7. 7

    Add light soya sauce. Simmer for about 2 minutes.

  8. 8

    Ready to serve with piping hot white rice.

Living in Singapore, a fantastic place to eat and experience (almost) every kind of cuisine in the world.
