Poha Aloo Balls (Poha Aloo Pakoda) is a simple, quick, and easy snack recipe that can be prepared and enjoyed immediately with sauce or chutney along with a hot cup of tea or coffee.

Firstly, clean and wash the poha in a sieve. Transfer the poha into a large bowl. Add water and soak it for only one minute.

Drain out all the water completely. If there is moisture then it will be difficult to make the Poha Aloo Pakoda. Mash it well. When pressed it should form into a ball.

To it, add steamed and mashed potatoes, salt, finely chopped green chilies, and ginger.

Add the chopped coriander leaves and mix well.

Next add Kashmiri red chili powder, coriander powder, chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, and sugar. Mix and mash well. The stuffing to prepare poha aloo balls is ready.

Divide the mixture into equal portions. Form each portion into medium-sized balls and set aside.

Heat sufficient oil in a deep nonstick pan and deep fry a few poha aloo balls at a time until golden brown from all sides.

Remove on tissue paper to drain away from the excess oil.

Poha Aloo Balls (Poha Aloo Pakodas) are ready. Serve it immediately with green chutney, red chili sauce, and tomato ketchup.
