My first baking training was from my mother after I got married. From my childhood days, I always loved the freshly baked cake with vanilla flavour. In those days we did not have a micro oven but she used to show her baking skills to perfection every time and it amazed me and my sister. So though I am still a learner and now she taught me the cupcakes tricks in the micro oven I can make them for my son whenever I want. So I made these cupcakes today on my father’s birthday and dedicated them to her on this Women’s Day

In a large bowl, put the vegetable oil, sugar, flour, eggs, Vanilla essence, and milk, then whisk with an electric whisker on a medium speed for 1 minute. Divide the mixture between 2 bowls and stir the cocoa powder into one of the mixtures.

Separate both the mixtures in two different bowls

Using a teaspoon, take small dollops of each cake mixture and spoon them alternately into the silicone mold. Add chopped strawberries and choco chips after the first spoon and then add on.

Bake for 30 minutes in a preheated oven at 190 degrees centigrade and then take out of the oven and allow to cool. Demould and enjoy the floral marble cupcakes.
