VERMICELLI UPMA
Upma is a traditional South Indian breakfast delicacy and it is popular across India. Traditional Upma is prepared from semolina. Many variations are there in preparation of Upma, not only in process but in ingredients too. Some of popular upma recipes without semolina are Oats upma, vermicelli upma, dalia upma.
Here I have prepared vermicelli upma with vegetables which is perfect for healthy and quick breakfast and even mini meal too.

Here I have prepared vermicelli upma with vegetables which is perfect for healthy and quick breakfast and even mini meal too.

Heat oil and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add onions and sauté them.

Further add vegetables, green chilli and stir fry them on high flame for 1 minute.
Then add vermicelli, turn the flame medium and saute for 2 minutes. - 3
Now add about 2 cups of water and salt. Once it starts boiling, turn the heat on low and cover the vessel and let it cook.

Within 4-5 minutes, it cooks properly and all water absorbed. Turn off the flame.

Serve hot.
