My grandmother made this often during her visits and its been one of our favourites.
I made this with red onion and used combined curry's.

My grandmother made this often during her visits and its been one of our favourites.
I made this with red onion and used combined curry's.
Steps

Heat oil in large pan or pot

Rub chicken with salt
- 3
Fry chicken on both sides till golden brown, then remove from pan.

Fry onions in same pan till light brown
- 5
Add tomatoe sauce, worcester sauce and chutney to the onion and bring to boil, simmer for 3 - 5 minutes.

Pack chicken portions into oven tray and pour sauce over the pieces.

Sprinkle curry powder over chicken portions.

Cover chicken portions with strips of bacon.

Cover tray with tinfoil and bake for 1hour at 180 'C

Remove foil and bake for additional 30min

Serve with vegetables
