This is our traditional dish. The recipe is simple but its volcano type presentation seems so beautiful. And the taste is so good.
Steps

Prepare khichri. Firt heat the oil add sugar cook till sugar becomes brown in color. Then add salt. Let it simmer for few seconds.

Add 1 cup of water and cover the lid immediately. Be careful while doing this step because this may cause injury.

Now add rice and dal with required water and cook till excess water dries. Coon on low flame.

Add more water and mash the rice and dal. Mash till required consistency. Now put on low flame. And cook for 4 to 5 minutes.

Now its time to decorate the dish. Make kurud slurry.

Prepare tarka, crush the garlic along with a bit salt. And saute in hot oil till golden.

Then In a serving dish spread rice and make the shape of volcano with the help of spatula. Then pour kurud on the walls of rice volcano. You can watch it in videos.

Give garlic tarka in the center of volcano and spread qeema in outer side of rice volcano. Add this dish in your meal and give a tarka to your simplest khichri. 😉
