Hard boil the eggs in salted water. I bring them to the boil from cold, turn off the heat and cover. After 4-5 minutes they’ll be ready. Cool under the cold water tap. Peel and slice.

Meanwhile, toast the bread and butter it.

Lay the prosciutto on the toast and then the sliced eggs.

Finally, sprinkle on the capers.
