Ingredients

10 minutes (no prep needed)
1 serving
  • 2large eggs (I used Burford Browns)
  • Salted water
  • 1thick slice granary or your preferred bread
  • 1 tspbutter
  • 4 slicesprosciutto ham
  • 1 tspcapers, rinsed

Steps

10 minutes (no prep needed)
  1. 1

    Hard boil the eggs in salted water. I bring them to the boil from cold, turn off the heat and cover. After 4-5 minutes they’ll be ready. Cool under the cold water tap. Peel and slice.

  2. 2

    Meanwhile, toast the bread and butter it.

  3. 3

    Lay the prosciutto on the toast and then the sliced eggs.

  4. 4

    Finally, sprinkle on the capers.
