Carrot and celery remoulade

This is typically made with celeriac but I didn’t have any so I decided to experiment with carrot for the celeriac texture and a bit of celery for the celeriac flavour! It worked really well. I served it with leftover bbqed roast chicken and salad for a deliciously easy lunch.

Steps

5 minutes
  1. 1

Prepare the veg. I used a really cool tool that I bought in Vietnam to rapée my carrots but you could easily just use a knife to cut them into matchsticks.

Love cooking food that I can share with friends. Never happier than when I’ve got people over for dinner enjoying great food (and great wine of course). I’m a big fan of seasonal ingredients and coming up with quick and fresh ideas for during the busy working week.
