I generally love to eat all the varieties of food but had special affection with maharastrian food . One of my dearest friend told me about this recipe , she loves the way her mom use to make .We both decided to make it . Very simple and tasty sweets for diwali or any festival .

Take flour in bowl and hot ghee to it. mix well till it becomes crumbled. Add very little water and make it into soft dough. donot knead it to much. cover with wet cloth and keep it aside for 10 mins.

Roast dalia in a saucepan in slow flame till the color turns gloden brown and allow it to cool. Grind the dal into fine powder. chop dry fruits and mix it with the powder. chop jaggery in fine powder and mix well with powdered dal with hands. keep it aside.

Take dough make lemon size ball and roll it flat into thin puri. take the mould and put this puri into it and add the mixture of dal and close the edge of it with wet hands. Repeat this all the dough and dal mixture

Heat oil in deep frying pan, fry the gujjiyas in slow flam till they are golden color. remove it and store it in dry closed air tight containers.
