Sweet and sour liver

Another one of my mother's recipes, this is really great. It may look like the dogs breakfast but that probably my fault. Dont kick it till you tried it! I enjoy this with brown rice and mash potatoes. You can cook extra veggies on the side also 😋. (Using slices of liver with beef mince also works. I doubled on ingredients if I use more than 500gr liver)

Cook bacon in water till done.

Slice onion into thick pieces and add ti bacon, fry for a bit

Mix minced liver (or sliced liver pieced and mince) into pan on low heat.

Sprinkle with origanum, thyme, (mixed herbs) salt, pepper and bbq spice and mix through.

Mix in jug 2tbsp worcester sauce, 125ml tomatoe sauce, 60ml vinegar, 3tbsp sugar, 125ml Coca-Cola, 250ml water with half packet brown onion soup powder.

Pour sauce mix over liver and stir through, simmer till done.

Taste occasionally and add spice to taste.
