First keep the steamer ready

Wash and clean aravi leaves

Cut extra stem if it is there

Prepare besan (gram flour) batter which we will apply on back side of leaves

In a bowl, add gram flour

Add salt, turmeric powder

Add red chilli powder, cinnamon powder, ginger garlic paste

Add ajwain (carom seeds), sesame seeds

Add water and make thick paste

Apply this thick paste on back side of leaves

Roll leaves

Steam for 10-15min

Cut in pieces

Deep fry

Make tadka- heat oil

Add mustard seeds, cummin seeds

Add Sesame seeds, green chillies, curry leaves

Tadka is ready

Pour this tadka on fried avu vadi or patra

Sprinkle coriander leaves and fresh grated coconut

Spicy yummy snacks Alu vadi or Patra is ready.
