Ingredients

  • 1/2 cupvegetable oil
  • 4 ozunsweetened baking chocolate, melted, cooled
  • 2 cupsgranulated sugar
  • 2 tspvanilla
  • 4eggs
  • 2 cupsall purpose flour
  • 2 tspbaking powder
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 1/2 cuppowdered sugar

Steps

  1. 1

    In a large bowl, mix oil, chocolate, granulated sugar and flavoring of your choice. Stir in eggs, one at a time. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt. Cover, refrigerate at least 3 hours.

    Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease cookie sheet with shortening or cooking spray.

  3. 3

    Roll a teaspoon of roll into a ball in buttered hands...drop into a bowl of powdered sugar to coat. Place about 2 " apart on cookie sheet.

  4. 4

    Bake 10-- 12 minutes or until almost no imprint remains when cookie is touched lightly in center. Immediately remove from cookie sheet to cooling racks.

    Try changing the flavoring....we used orange during class, but almond and mint are delicious too! Enjoy!
