Casa Vallès-Style Chicken Breast Sandwich

Casa Vallès was founded in Terrassa (Barcelona) in 1963 and is considered the first “Frankfurt” (hot dog shop) to open in the area, pioneering fast food in Catalonia. In the early days, they only sold frankfurter sausages, a product that was almost unknown at the time, and gradually added other types of sandwiches, always surprising their customers. From the beginning, they were innovators—if you wanted an imported beer, you knew where to find it, and they were the first to offer canned cola drinks. They have always guaranteed the highest quality with their own production line, managed by the company itself. Today, they have seven locations across Catalonia, have greatly expanded their product line, supply their own stores, and offer direct delivery.

Steps
- 1
Today, instead of the typical frankfurter, I made a chicken breast sandwich—definitely a great choice! Place the chicken breast between two sheets of parchment paper and flatten it with the bottom of a pot until it’s thinner.
- 2
Slice the Vienna roll in half and toast both sides until golden brown, then remove from heat.
- 3
Spread mayonnaise on one side of the roll and drizzle Viandox sauce on the other. Place the chicken breast on the roll, close the sandwich, and enjoy!
