Chutney is supposed to be very important side dish in most of the Indian families.It is always ready in our homes.We eat it with samosa,pulao,Paratha etc.Indian meal is incomplete without chutney.Today I am sharing spicy tomato chutney which you can store it for more than 6 months.Sweet and spicy chutney ,you can enjoy it with stuffed parathas.My son and daughter both love it.#SD3#Chutney#

Ingredients

6-7 people
  • 1/2 kgTomato -.(cut into small pieces)
  • 250 gramsSugar -
  • 1 tsp Kalonji -
  • 2 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala -
  • 1Onion - big(peeled and finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp Garlic - (grated)
  • 11/2 tbsp Ginger grated
  • 30 mlMustard oil
  • 11/2 tbsp Salt -
  • 2 pinchSodium Banzoate -

Steps

40 min.
  1. 1

    Cook tomato pieces in a pan on medium heat.Cook for 7-8 min.When tomato becomes soft,add sugar and mix.Cook.it on medium flame.

    Grind ginger and garlic in a mixer jar. Take another pan,heat mustard oil,add kalonji and saute.Now add ginger and garlic.Add.chopped onion an d cook until red in colour.

    Add all the spices except salt.Then.add tomato mixture and mix it well.Cook it for 5 min.Add salt and cook for another 2 min.Switch off the gas.

    Take a spoon mix chutney and Sodium Banzoate properly.Add into tomato chutney and mix.

    Your delicious and spicy chutney is ready to eat You can store it for more than six months.Enjoy it with chila,paratha,puri kachori etc.
