Vegan BBQ Shredded "Jackfruit Meat" Sub Sandwiches

This recipe was adapted from the one on the back of the box of "Edward & Sons Organic Young Jackfruit Pieces" that I purchased online. Jackfruit is a great vegan replacement for a variety of meats in lots of different recipes! My non-vegan family members usually cannot tell the difference between this and shredded beef.🫣🤫 This jackfruit comes vacuum sealed and guaranteed to last unopened for over a year! They have many jackfruit recipes on their webpage that you can find at edwardandsonsrecipes.org and also other organic food products as well. Enjoy!

BBQ jackfruit sandwich with pineapple slaw BBQ jackfruit sandwich with pineapple slaw
This is a great vegan dish that tastes just like BBQ pulled pork sandwiches. The pineapple overs a nice sweetness to it. I get my Jackfruit from Whole Foods in a can, you can get it fresh but it is very difficult to cut up as the fruit is massive. You can also buy premade bbq jackfruit from the brand Upton if in a time crunch. kelsey schoendorf -

I remembered I had a crockpot, so here is one that I really enjoyed that didn't heat up my kitchen.I used frozen chicken breasts, so if you use fresh chicken, be mindful that it might take less time than my cook time. Also, I used Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce... it's my favorite!Hi, its me!

Too Easy Slow Cooker BBQ Pork Sandwiches Too Easy Slow Cooker BBQ Pork Sandwiches
Just as the title says, this is just too easy but so delicious! The "country style pork for bbq" is pretty much just pork butt/shoulder sliced up into kind of rib shaped pieces. You can find it bone-in or boneless. Bone-in just imparts more flavor. If you can't find this particular cut by all means go for a small boneless pork butt/shoulder and voila, it's "pulled pork"!
