Soak the rice in water for about 30 minutes.

In a pan, heat 1 1/2 cups water (about 360 ml). Add the soaked rice, salt, and 2 tablespoons ghee. Cook until the rice is done, then turn off the heat and cover for 5 minutes.

In another pan, heat 2 tablespoons ghee. Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle, then add the cooked rice and mix well.

Add the chopped cilantro, mix, and serve.
