This recipe is similar to Chicken Sashlik. The only thing I added is homemade paneer. An absolutely yummy dish that's loved by all. It was an instant hit!
Rich lusciuos gravy with Paneer or Cottage Cheese added. A super yummy recipe with Paneer that is easy and quick too. Marinate Paneer well in advance and store it in freezer nicely covered. Use it when desired with a standing time for it to thaw once outside. This way it helps in infusing the flavours beyond expectations. The longer the marination, the more soft and tender the milky white cubes become. I do it this way and end up with melt in mouth Paneer recipes everytime. It can be relished with Parathas, Puris and Pulav.

Soak Paneer cubes in water for 10 minutes. Drain well and marinate with all the spices. Set aside for an hour. Refrigerate until use for better results. Better still if you can freeze it overnight. Heat the oil and add all the masalas. Saute them for about 3 minutes.

Next add the paneer cubes along with the capsicum and onion, just toss it in the gravy.

Place them on the skewers in any order that you like. Follow the order of paneer cubes followed by capsicum, followed by onions and so on and so forth. Arrange them on a well greased non-stick tawa and baste them with oil as and when needed turning sides at regular intervals. Cover and cook until crisp and done on a low heat only. Serve well garnished with lots of freshly chopped coriander leaves.

Grill them on the stove top griller or in the oven just for 5 minutes. The veggies should be crunchy, hence bake it only for 5 or 10 minutes.

Serve it hot with any dip of your choice or chilli garlic sauce.
