  1. 1 lbground beef or ground lamb
  2. 1 cuppanko or breadcrumbs (seasoned or not)
  3. 1 cupmilk (I used almond milk)
  4. 1/4 cupchopped onion (red or yellow is fine)
  5. 1large egg
  6. 1/4chopped bell pepper (any color)
  7. 1minced garlic or 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  8. 2 tbsketchup
  9. 1 tbsworcestershire sauce
  10. 3/4 tspsalt
  11. 3/4 tspblack pepper
  12. 1 tspfresh parsley
  13. 1 tspItalian seasoning
  14. 1 tsppaprika
  15. 1 tspchilli powder
  16. For sauce
  17. 1/4 cupketchup
  18. 2 tbspred wine vinegar
  19. 2 tbspbrown sugar
  20. 1/3 cupsweet barrel aged bourbon sauce

    Preheat oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit

    In a skillet caramelized the chopped onions. Then add the bell pepper and saute for 1min. Keep stirring during this time.

    Put the ground beef in a bowl, and pressed the ground beef against the bowl covering the bottom of the bowl. Then add bread crumbs, milk, seasonings, caramelized onions, bell pepper, eggs, ketchup and worcestershire sauce. And combine all the ingredients with the ground beef. I used my hand to rub them in.

    Put the mixed ground beef in a bread pan. If you do not have a bread pan you can put the ground beef in a cling or saran wrap and rolled it into the shape of a log. And then place it in your baking pan.

    Make the sauce.
    Combine ketchup, bourbon sauce, sugar and rice vinegar. pour half of the mixture on the meatloaf

    Put the meatloaf in the oven and bake for 55mins uncovered.
    After 30 mins add the other half of the sauce and then return the meatloaf to the oven. After its baked you can test by sticking a tooth pick or knife. Once it comes out clean then it's ready.

    Pour off any excess juice from the pan. And let it sit for about 5mins before serving.
