Ingredients

  • 3/4 Cupbutter, softened
  • 1/2 Cuppowdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 Cupsflour
  • 3Eggs
  • 1 1/2 Cupssugar
  • 3 Tflour
  • Juice from 1 large lemon
  • 1 tgrated lemon peel
  • Powdered sugar (To be sprinkled on top)

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 350

  2. 2

    Crumble butter, sugar, flour together and press mixture into bottom of an ungreased 8x11 baking pan

  3. 3

    Bake 20 minutes

  4. 4

    Beat together eggs, sugar, flour, lemon juice, and lemon peel

  5. 5

    When crust is done but still hot, pour egg mixture onto crust

  6. 6

    Return to oven to make another 25 minutes

  7. 7

    Sprinkle with powdered sugar while hot

  8. 8

    Cool completely before cutting into squares
