Kalpna's Sweet Saffron Rice
A deliciously simple dessert from 91 Ways' founder Kalpna Woolf

Wash the rice in running water.
Melt the butter in a pan.
Add the rice into the pan and coat with melted butter. Sauté for 1-2
minutes. - 2
Dissolve the sugar in the warm water and add to the rice.
Add cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamom pods, milk and saffron water and saffron threads and allow to infuse as you bring it to the boil on a medium heat.
This will take about 5 minutes.

When boiling, add raisins and nuts (hold back a few nuts for
garnish).Put the lid on the pan and simmer for approximately approximately 10 minutes until cooked. Garnish with the remaining nuts.
Serve warm!
