Cherry & White Chocolate Cobbler

It’s the 4th of July weekend, our Independence Day! Usually it’s a grub fest get together with lots of food, beer, and explosives😂🇺🇸 My job this year is a dessert and the mac and cheese. Always with the mac and cheese. I scraped together some ingredients and made this cobbler. It smells like I don’t wanna share it. Everyone fights for the crust so I made it with twice the crust. More crust=more crust. It tastes a lot like a fried cherry pie.
Cherry & White Chocolate Cobbler

Always with the mac and cheese. I scraped together some ingredients and made this cobbler. It smells like I don’t wanna share it. Everyone fights for the crust so I made it with twice the crust. Preheat oven to 400. In a saucepan, mix the first 6 ingredients and 2 tbsp of the butter. Cook on medium heat unti it comes to a boil and thickens. Set aside.

Spray a baking pan and spread the cooked cherry mixture in the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle 1/2 cup white chocolate chips over mixture. Lay one crust over half and brush with butter. Lay the 2nd crust over the other half, overlapping the crusts. Brush that one with butter then sprinkle 1 tsp white sugar over both and bake.

Bake for about 30 mins. When it’s about 10 minutes before being done, pull it out and brush entire top with cream and sprinkle turbinato sugar over the top and bake for 10 more minutes. Allow to cool some before cutting.
