Soak urad dal for minimum 2 hours

Drain water

Grind to smooth paste

Add chopped curry leaves, coriander leaves, Black pepper powder

Deep fry vada for this give a round shape by hand, every time deep hand in water and then give the round shape of vada and leave vada directly in hot oil

Soak fried vada in water for 10min, then squeeze and keep aside

Now take yoghurt (curd) in a mixing bowl

Add sugar,salt

Make the tempering of oil, mustard seeds, cumin, green chillies, curry leaves, Asafoetida

Pour this tempering on yoghurt

Whisk everything well

Now take serving dish

Arrange vada

Pour tempered yoghurt

Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves and boondi (snacks)
