Neer dosa

I am a north Indian who loves South Indian cuisine 😋. When I started learning the art of dosa it was very scary for me. After so many broken dosas and batter of different consistency ended up in my fridge I was finally able to make a perfect dosa!! After that I learnt that there is a variety of dosa which is called neer dosa and it is made only of soaked rice! But to my surprise this was super simple, time saving and deliciiiioouuuuus!!!! All you need is rice and a non-stick pan and you are good too go.
And what a great excuse to share this recipe now!! Enjoy it! Bon appetite.

Steps
- 1
Soak the rice for at least 3-4 hours
- 2
After soaking,Grind it to a smooth paste. And mind you it should not be grainy
- 3
Add water and salt to the paste and make a thin batter. The consistency should be like milk
- 4
Put a non-stick pan on flame and drizzle some oil and spread it with a brush or you can use a half cut onion
- 5
Pour a ladleful of batter on pan and spread it by moving the pan
- 6
After a minute the sides of dosa will separate from pan
- 7
Fold the dosa on pan itself in half with the help of spatula and again fold it in half
- 8
Remove it from pan and it's ready to eat!!!
- 9
Tip: put flame on medium and wait till dosa becomes translucent and then fold
