Melt the butter and set aside.

In a bowl, mix the flour, powdered sugar, hazelnut meal, salt, and scraped vanilla bean seeds. Add the egg whites and mix well. Stir in the melted butter.

Pour the batter into greased and floured mini kouglof molds. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 to 25 minutes.
