Ingredients

8-10 minutes
2 servings
  • 1 cupsoaked Sabudana pearls
  • 1medium Potato (boiled)
  • 2-3Green Chilli
  • 3-4 tbsproasted Peanuts
  • 1 tspGinger
  • 1/2 tspCumin seeds
  • 1 bunchCoriander leaves
  • 2 tbspOil
  • 2 tbspLemon juice
  • 2 tspSalt
  • 1 tspSugar

    Assemble ingredients

    In moderately heated pan add oil, add cumin seeds + green chilli and allow to crackle, then add potato cubes + ginger and stir fry for around 2 minutes.
    Then add soaked Sabudana pearls and stir gently.

    Add peanuts + chopped coriander + sugar and mix gently, cook for 4-5 minutes.

    Add Lemon juice, Simmer and cook further for 2-3 minutes till moisture evaporates.

    Now Khichdi is ready for lunch box.
