Steps

Marinade chicken with red chili powder + salt + lemon juice + ginger garlic paste and marinate for 2 hours. Keep in the refrigerator while marinating.

Assemble ingredients, make a medium slurry of Kashmiri red chili powder and keep aside. Make paste / purée of tomato and keep aside.

Crack the egg, add a little salt, and whisk well. Keep aside.

Take marinade chicken, add 3-4 tbsp of egg mix + corn flour and give a good mix.

In a moderately heated pan add oil, add the chicken pieces, and shallow fry.

Fry till golden brown on both sides, it takes around 8 - 10 minutes. Keep aside.

In the same pan add the finely chopped garlic and sauté for a few seconds, then add tomato paste + Kashmiri red chili slurry and cook for 3-4 minutes under medium flame.

Add tomato sauce + black pepper powder + salt + vinegar + soya sauce and cook for a few seconds under medium flame. Then add the fried chicken pieces + 1/4 cup water and cook for 4-5 minutes under medium flame.

Lastly, add honey, mix and simmer for around 1 minute. The dish is ready.

Transfer to serving dish and serve immediately to retain crispness.
