Ingredients

  1. For Dough
  2. 1/2 CupWheat flour
  3. 1/2 CupRefined flour
  4. 1 TablespoonOil
  5. 1/2 TeaspoonCarom seeds
  6. to tasteSalt
  7. As neededWater
  8. For filling
  9. 2Potato (boiled and mashed)
  10. 1 teaspoonMango powder
  11. 1 TeaspoonCumin powder
  12. 1/2 TeaspoonGaram masala
  13. 1Green chili (finely chopped)
  14. to tasteSalt
  15. other ingredients
  16. Oil (for brushing)

Steps

  1. 1

    In a mixing bowl, mix together all ingredients of the dough and knead to a stiff dough. Keep aside.

  2. 2

    In another bowl, mix together all ingredients of the filling.

  3. 3

    Divide the dough in small portions and roll in 5-6 inch circles, cut the circles in half.

  4. 4

    Take one of the semi circle, fold into a cone, stuff with the prepared filling, seal the edges using little water. Repeat for all semi circles.

  5. 5

    Pre heat air fryer to 200F.

  6. 6

    Place the prepared samosas and allow to cook for 15 to 20 minutes, brush with oil after every 5 minutes during the process of cooking.

  7. 7

    Serve with your favorite chutney.
