Prepare the ingredients for the sponge cake. Separate the egg yolks and whites.

Beat the yolks with half of the sugar, pouring the sugar in slowly.

Continue beating until the yolks are pale and thick.

Beat the egg whites with the remaining sugar until stiff peaks form.

Gently fold in the dry ingredients, alternating with the yolk and white mixtures.

Once the batter is ready, bake at 350°F (180°C) for 25 minutes.

Check doneness with a toothpick or skewer; the cake should come out clean.

Let the cake cool, then trim the top and slice it in half.

While the cake cools, bring the milks for the syrup to a boil along with the walnuts.

Whip 2/3 cup (150 ml) of cream for the filling.

Soak the cake with the syrup and fill with the cream, peaches, and walnuts.

Cover any gaps with whipped cream.

Whip the remaining 1 1/4 cups (300 ml) of cream.

In a small amount of cream, add the food colorings separately.

Once everything is ready, cover the cake with a layer of white cream and smooth it out.
