For a while now, I've been using checkers custard. I used to make even milkshakes. So I decided to add it to my cake mixture and to my surprise, the result was awesome. Will you be trying this recipe,too? It's best served with some spiced tea
My signature toasted Custard vanilla cake
For a while now, I've been using checkers custard. I used to make even milkshakes. So I decided to add it to my cake mixture and to my surprise, the result was awesome. Will you be trying this recipe,too? It's best served with some spiced tea

In a bowl, combine all dry ingredients I.e flour, custard, baking powder and salt

Whisk to combine and then set aside.

Add the eggs in 2 batches, that is 3 at a go, whisk to combine then add the remaining 3 and whisk again.

Add the vanilla and mix and then gradually add in the whisked dry ingredients.

Mix on high speed for about 3mins. Please do not over mix.

In a mixing bowl, add the sugar and butter and cream until light and fluffy.

Once hot, scoop in some of the cake batter

Cover and toast until it's fully cooked.

Repeat this until you're done. Enjoy!

Heat your toaster.
