Dry roast the sesame seeds. Heat a pan add ghee put chopped dryfruits roast it, add coconut powder stir for 1 minute.

Add jaggery, and cardamom powder mix it well, add sesame seeds mix it & cook till it becomes dry. Off the flame. Heat another pan and add 1 1/2 cup water salt & 1/2tsp ghee.

Add rice flour to make a dough. Whenever it becomes a little cool mash it to make a soft dough. Take a modak mould and fill the small pieces of dough filled with coconut stuffing. Steam the modak.

Ukadiche Modak is ready for Garnishing with saffron milk.
