I found this recipe in my reels on social media. There wasn’t any set measurements and the video went so quick, but it was one of the best garlic cheesy breads I’ve made.
I got rid of a few of the ingredients I didn’t care for and it turned out perfectly!

Ingredients

1 hour total
4-6 ppl
  1. 1 CloveGarlic
  2. 1 stickButter (salted or unsalted) your choice
  3. Salt
  4. Pepper
  5. LoafFrench bread (uncut) 🥖
  6. About 1-2 cups Mozzarella cheese shredded (depending on how much you want on top of bread)
  7. 1 cupParmesan cheese shredded
  8. Parsley flakes
  9. Olive oil
  10. Kitchen items you’ll need
  11. sheetFoil, skillet, baking

Cooking Instructions

    Cut top off garlic clove, enough to expose the insides of the cloves. Pour olive oil over the open top (1-2 tbsp), add salt and pepper to oil. Wrap the garlic clove (while & still together upright in foil & close)
    Bake upright (so oil doesn’t pour out) in oven or on the BBQ grill at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

    When it’s finished baking (45 minutes later) squeeze hot garlic out of its shell and mash the cloves with fork in a bowl.

    After garlic is done.
    Then, in a heated skillet stove top, melt 1 stick butter, salt, pepper, parsley flakes, mashed garlic and Parmesan cheese.

    French bread loaf, cut in half.

    Then Once the mixture is melted and mixed, spread over the top of the 2 halves of French bread.

    Top with mozzarella cheese (to your liking) and bake in oven for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Cut into pieces and serve hot with marinara sauce or as a side to some pasta.
