Its detoxifying effect may come from Moringa's ability to purify water. I cooked with yellow moong dal grated coconut .

Steps

Roast the dal and soaked in water.

Separate saag for the stick and wash in enough water.
- 3
Cook the moong dal with water in a wide pan.
- 4
When half cooked, add moringa leaves with dal. Add coconut also. Mix well.

When garlic is aromatic, add chopped onion and green chili. Fry till onion is done and mixes well with cooked Moringa leaves/ Drumstick leaves. Serve hot with steamed rice.
