Mix all the ingredients of gatte,mix water to make soft dough. take 1/3rd of the dough,roll it cylindrical shape and cut 1/2 inch pieces from it.Make all gatte.

Boil water,put all gatte in it.Cook it until all the gatte starts floating over the water. Remove it from water.Keep it aside.

For the kadhi.Mix gram flour,curd and 2 cups water.Heat ghee in a pan,add bay leaf,clove, cardamom, mustard seeds,cumin and fennel seeds.Saute.Add turmeric powder,red chilli powder and 1/2 cup water.Now add curd,gram flour and water mixture.Keep on stirring till first boil.Mix salt into it.Cook for 8-9 min.on low flame.Add gatte and cook for 3-4 min.Switch off the gas.

For tadka,heat ghee in a tadka pan,add red chilli powder and switch off the gas.Your delicious gatte ki kadhi is ready to serve.Serve it hot with rice or paratha.
