Wash rajma in running water 2-3 times and Soak in water for 4 hours. Transfer it in a pressure cooker. Add water and salt and pressure cook till 7-8 whistles after first whistle. Switch off the flame and let pressure releases automatically.

Peel wash and Chop onion, ginger, garlic, green chilli and tomatoes. Grind it to a smooth paste.

Heat cooking oil in a wok. Add cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter add grinded masala paste. Add all dry masale except rajma masala. Cook on low flame till it turn thick and oil gets separated.

Now add kasuri methi and mix well and cook for 2 minutes.

Now open the pressure cooker and transfer this prepared masala in pressure cooker. Mix well. Place the lid and pressure cook till 7-8 whistles after first whistle. Switch off the flame.

Let pressure releases automatically. Now open the lid. Add chopped coriander leaves and rajma masala.

Serve hot with rice or chapatti
