Ingredients

30 minutes
5 servings
  • 1.5 cuplal masoor dal, soaked in water for 3 hrs,
  • 1/2 inchginger chopped,
  • 7green chilli (adjustable),
  • as requiredSalt to taste,
  • Pinchajwain,
  • 1/2 tsphaldi powder,
  • 1/2 tspred chilli powder,
  • somechopped dhania patta,
  • 1/2 tspgaram masala powder (optional),
  • 2 tbsprice flour,
  • as requiredOil for frying,

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash dal, strain it, keep aside.

    Take a mixer jar, add dal, ginger, green chilli & salt, grind it coarsely. Do not add water.

    Take out in a mixing bowl, add ajwain & all the other given ingredients except oil one by one.

    Mix it thoroughly.

    Take a wok, add good amount of oil, heat it. Moderate the flame, drop small portions of the batter in hot oil. Deep fry them until brown...

    Take out in an absorbent paper, plate it, serve it with green chutney.
