In a bowl add 1 tablespoon of hot water and add saffron. Set aside

In a wide bottom pan, on low to medium heat, roast semolina until light golden. (about 5 minutes) Transfer in a bowl and add warm milk and mix well let it rest for 5 minutes. Add saffron water, milk powder and cardamom powder and mix well. Set aside.

In the same pan, add butter and let it melt on low to medium heat.
Once melted, add sugar and keep stirring until its caramelised. Add in the soaked semolina and cook on low heat until it leaves sides and forms a dough like texture. - 6
Transfer in serving bowl or you can put them in moulds.
