Mix semovita, yeast, onion puree, cooked rice and 2 cups warm water(more if needed) all together in a bowl. It shouldn't be too watery.

Cover the mixture and leave to rest for 1-2hrs or until it rises. Then, add sugar, baking powder, salt and mix well.

Grease your masa pan with oil, when it's hot, scoop and pour the mixture into the pan. Fry both sides on medium heat.

Serve with miyar taushe, hot tea or yajin kuli kuli. Serve mine with yaji
