#NC Sweet, sour, and spicy. Falahari Khatta Meetha Kaddu is a perfect dish for Navratri. Easy to make and enjoy if you are fasting too.

To begin, clean and cut the pumpkin into bite-sized pieces.

Heat oil in a pan. Add in the cumin seeds and allow them to crackle.

Add the pumpkin and chopped green chillies. Mix well.

Now add in the dry masalas - sendha namak, Kashmiri red chilli powder, and jeera powder. Mix well. Add a bit of water, cover with a lid and cook on low heat until the pumpkin is cooked.

Finally, add in the amchoor powder and sugar. Mix well on low heat or the sugar will caramelize.

The Falahari Khatta Meetha Kaddu is ready to serve. Garnish with chopped green coriander leaves.
