Great for lunch or sandwiches. Serve with French fries and salad, or with pasta.
Steps
- 1
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, onion, parsley, garlic, hot pepper, salt, black pepper, a pinch of cinnamon, onion powder, and garlic powder.
- 2
Mix the ingredients thoroughly until the meat becomes paste-like and stringy.
- 3
Brush a baking sheet with olive oil. Shape the kofta onto skewers, moistening your hands with onion juice to keep them from drying out, and arrange them on the sheet.
- 4
Bake in a preheated oven until cooked through and browned. If they seem dry or start to stick, brush with more onion juice to keep them moist and tender.
- 5
Serve with French fries and tahini salad or a green salad.
