Maqluba (the upside- down pot)

Majdal Issa
Majdal Issa @Majdoleen_Issa

This is one of the most popular Arab meals for lunch. Generally common in the levant (Palestine, Lebanon, Syria and Jordan, but it's a significant part of the Palestinian Folklore. Maqluba in Arabic means: upside down, and the idea of this meal is that we compact the ingredients in the pot, and when it's ready, we flip it! Such a funny process!
