Atta Gond Pinni

Gond ke Laddu is our very own desi energy balls recipe. A popular punjabi dish, also known as Panjeeri laddu or pinni these are considered healthy winter dish. It is a nutrition sweet made with desi ghee, dry fruits wheat flour & gond.
Today I am sharing with you a traditional Punjabi recipe of making gond ke laddoo just the way my Mom makes it.

Today I am sharing with you a traditional Punjabi recipe of making gond ke laddoo just the way my Mom makes it.

In heavy bottom pan add ghee & deep fry gond on mid flame. When it become flourish in hot ghee take it out.

Now in same pan add more ghee & atta. Roast it on mid flame. The first step, atta don't move easily in pan. But slowly it will be soft & fluffy.

So we can use ghee in atta step by step. When it turns golden brown & ghee came out of dough its perfect stage of roasted atta. Now add gond & almonds in pan. After 2 min when all ingredients mix proper, off the flame.

Leave it for cool. After 5 min add bura sugar in it & mix it very well. (I use bura sugar because simple sugar has water content but it's taste is better than sugar.)

Now its time to give a shape, of ready dough. Generally pinni is in cylindrical shape. So make it with tight hands. Keep it on a tray one by one for dry.

Store it for long time, it has long shelf life. So enjoy it in whole winter. Fresh, healthy & delicious winter's gift.
