Ingredients

Serves 4 servings
  1. 4croissants
  2. 4 slicesham
  3. 2/3 cupshredded Swiss cheese (about 60 grams)
  4. 2 teaspoonsbutter (about 10 grams)
  5. 1 tablespoonall-purpose flour (about 10 grams)
  6. 1/3 cupmilk (about 100 milliliters)
  7. Salt, pepper
  8. Nutmeg

    Make the béchamel sauce.

    Slice the croissants in half horizontally, but don’t cut all the way through. Spread béchamel sauce on both inside halves.

  3. 3

    Fold each slice of ham into thirds and place on the croissant. Sprinkle with shredded Swiss cheese, then close the croissants.

  4. 4

    Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 15 minutes.
