To begin with,Heat up a pressure cooker,add in ghee..add cumin seeds and curry leaves,saute it for 2-3 minutes

Now add in chopped onion,saute for 3-4 minutes..add in tomatoes saute it until tomatoes becomes mushy...

Further add in rinsed moong dal,add turmeric,grated ginger,& salt saute it for 3-4 minutes..now add rice and 3cups of water..give it a good mix,cover the lid and get 3 whistles..when pressure reduced,open the lid.transfer in to serving dish, garnish with coriander leaves serve hot with dash of ghee...
