Scrape and cut lotus diagonally.

Boil lotus with salt till tender.

Blend onion into a smooth paste.

Heat oil in a pan.

Saute onion paste for few minutes.

Add in ginger garlic chilli paste.

Cook for 2 minutes only.

Add in lotus root.

Bhoono it well.

Add in yoghurt and all spices.

Add in lemon,green chillies and ginger.

Cook covered till oil leaves the sides of the pan.

Serve hot with roti.
