Ingredients

4 servings
  • 1 cuptuver dal
  • 1small tomato chopped
  • 1 Inchginger chopped
  • 1green chili chopped
  • 2 spoonsghee
  • 2dried red chilli
  • 1 spoonjeera
  • 1 pinchhing
  • as per tasteSalt
  • as requiredcoriander
  • 1 spoonturmeric powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Take tuvar dal wash it and pressure cook it. After releasing the pressure take out from the cooker & smash it.

    In a kadhai add ghee then add jeera, hing, ginger garlic, green chilies, curry leaves & onion. Saute for a minute then add tomato.

    Then add cooked tuver dal. Mix well. Then add salt, sugar, lemon juice, and chopped coriander. Let it boil for 5 min.

  4. 4

    If you want you can add tadka over it after boiling. Dal fry is ready. You can serve it with jeera rice or roti or plain rice also
