A great blend of woods and seasoning to flavor a delicious moist turkey.

Melt the butter, add all the injection ingredients into a bowl. Start your fire.

Let the coals get hot but not raging. Wash the turkey and salt it covering inside and outside of turkey.

Fill the injector and inject the ingredients into the turkey. Coat the turkey with any remaining injection ingredients. Add the water. Cover the pan with aluminum foil set in the smoker.

Add wood and charcoal as needed. For the fuel I used the following, wood charcoal, charcoal briquettes, pecan wood, cherry wood, hickory wood, and oak wood. 6 hours smoking and 45 minutes in 350° Fahrenheit oven.
