Cooking Instructions

Soak the bread in milk for 5 minutes then mix to form paste

Mix the dry spices and wheat flour separately

To the minced meat add onions, crushed garlic, crushed ginger,bread paste, egg and the spices then mix until everything is well distributed

Use oil on your hands to roll 1 TBS of the mixture to form the meatballs and arrange on a tray. Do this until all mixture is done

Fry the balls in a shallow in-stock pan untill brown (around 7minutes in total) on low heat

For stew, get a bigger pan/sufuria. Add cooking oil and onion. Fry till golden brown.

Add tomato paste and the listed spices for the stew. Allow to cook for around 7 minutes, add water and coconut powder and stir.

Add the fried meat balls spreading them such that they do not sit on each other. At this point stir minimally

Allow to cook for around 10 minutes or until desired stew thickness is achieved.

Sprinkle the zest once heat is turned off.
Serve with whatever starch. - 11
