Ingredients

  • 4skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 2 tablespoonsbutter
  • 3chicken bouillon cubes
  • 2 (10.5 ounce)cans condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 2 (10 ounce)"non-flaky" refrigerated buttermilk biscuit dough
  • 2 cupswater, or as needed to cover

    First, if chicken is thawed, cut into cubes if desired. (If chicken is frozen, cut chicken after step 3.)

  2. 2

    Place chicken, condensed soup, bouillon cubes, and butter in a slow cooker. Add 4 'soup cans' of water (ensure that everything is covered).

  3. 3

    Cover and cook for 5 hours on High.

  4. 4

    If chicken was frozen before cooking, cut chicken into cubes at this step, if desired.

  5. 5

    About 1 hour before serving, tear or cut biscuit dough into pieces. (You can also flatten and cut into strips.) Place dough in the slow cooker. Cook until dough is no longer raw in the center.
